I never thought blocking did either side any good. Especially someone you once cared for. I am currently involved in BS, but set boundaries. When they are crossed, I act accordingly. At least then when I have had enough they were told and simply didn’t care. Then I will delete them from my life in good conscience.

Except the person I miss is only a figment of my imagination. The person I let go disrespected me, cheated on me, intentionally hurt me, and while he was my best friend, I wasn’t his. The person I miss is only what I’d wished for him to be; to not be like everyone else before. The person I let go cheated on me, hurt me, and lied about all of his intentions. While I was there missing him, comforting him when needed, and hoping the best for him, he was out there spending our time with someone else more important than me. It hurts to let go and deal with a broken heart, but it’s better to have a broken heart than a broken sense of self.
