THANK YOU EMORY because holy shit what do you MEAN him being awkward and shy when first meeting new people is out of character??? Mizuki grew up in the Hashimoto and was emotionally groomed, of course when he’s meeting brand new people he’s going to be uncomfortable… like he lost his friends and had to leave his home country not to mention Shion is still after him, he’s not going to be all “ahaha ladiessss ladiesss” upon first meeting can we be SERIOUS

Tbh I think even just playing Mizuki, and hearing his various voice lines that he says to himself (like chatter and stuff), it's so easy to tell that he's just trying to put on a persona but he's actually just a little dweeb. I mean dweeb affectionately of course. This is a really good analysis of his character

I'm lowkey ranting in the comments, but like Mizu being awkward and overwhelmed by the amount of attention really points into how Mizu "betrayed" his last family, so he feels like he has to walk on glass just so he doesn't accidentally do something to destroy the new family he's trying to make with Overwatch

honestly idm how they drew him in that panel cus of the charts I've seen are true and he's 6'1 then we're the same height and I can get pretty "short" when I'm in a situation when I feel shy or uncomfortable & people dont even notice it sometimes 😭 but im also not gonna entirely rule out that they just actually shrunk him either LOL
