He lost because Thanos was imbued with some of the power stone’s power when he put it on the gauntlet. That’s what those colored streaks are when he puts each stone in place. It’s the same reason why he could punch a hole in Vision’s vibranium head, with just his finger and thumb, to get the mind stone.

It’s the gauntlet difference in infinity war Thanos only was in pain for a moment, while in endgame hulk and Thanos both were in pain the whole time while trying to snap

idk if this is right but there could also be the fact how thanos got them one by one, so he was already harnessing the power of them, when hulk put on the glove, every single one went through him at once just my guess idk
