@screenwritinginla: I love this. Tarantino’s uncompromising vision. Every film he’s made has broken “rules.” I think that’s substantial aspect of what makes his films great. But more that… It’s the whole mindset of doing it the way he truly wants to do it. He had that mindset from the very beginning. He talks about it in a great interview. Before he made Reservoir Dogs, he would tell people exactly the types of films he wanted to make, but they tell him that “they” wouldn’t let him make those types of films.
