![[ Zipper Fly ] Day 23 Of 30 ⏳ How to sew a Fly front zipper for Denim Pants/ Shorts You want to start by cutting the fly 8” by 2” or 1.5” leaving one folded while the other unfold. Overlock the edges or sew the edges round. Notch the front pattern from waist line down by 6” or 6.5” Place the unfold fly on one side of the pants and sew 0.5” down to your notching. Turn it out and topstitch. Then place the zip at the middle of the fly, sew the edges and topstitch the front follow the zip trace and curve shape. Place the folded fly under, and add the other pants part tracing the zip down to notch part. Fold your 0.5” on the front part and sew till the end of it. Then topstitch the other pants part on it.
