Riverside Market is a vibe, botanic gardens, arts centre, Margaret mayhey playground, you could do a make your own fragrance workshop, gondola or the adventure park. CHC is my home and I fly back today! So glad for my two weeks back haha

The Church bar is a cool venue and does good pizza, they have live music on weekends and there’s a cute wee Irish bar (Paddy McNaughtons) next door. Riverside Market, Little High Eatery are good spots for food. The Arts centre is worth a walk through, Quake City is excellent for visitors who want to learn about the earthquakes. Depending on where you’re staying there’s a tonne of great cafes for breakfast/brunch. If you have any questions feel free to ask I’m a local and my hubby is also Irish☺️

King of snake is ten/ten amazing. Go to paddy mcnaughtons. Small wee Irish bar but amazing vibes. If the day is clear go do the gondola aswell. The views are class.

if ya dont get the trust the chef at king of snake make sure you grt the eggplant starter and raw fish salad and beef cheek for mains

The last word on New Regent street is a brilliant cocktail spot. People rave about the botanic gardens if that’s your jam. I haven’t been to town for a hot minute but fat eddy’s with a live band is a great time.

Gotta try the iconic $2 rice at dumplings. Make sure you get the gravy. Pink lady rooftop bar. Mr Brightside is another.
