Inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, Tropical Depression Neneng is moving west-northwestward at 30 km/h toward Taiwan with winds of 45 km/h, pulling intense moisture across Luzon despite being forecast to weaken into a remnant low. Outside the PAR, Tropical Storm Saudel (17W) is rapidly organizing near Chuuk State with sustained winds of 75 km/h and is projected to intensify into a typhoon as it tracks toward Saipan and Tinian.
