There are four types of wedge in golf! 🏌️♀️ But do you know the differences? 🤔 First up, the lob wedge. The lob wedge is the most lofted club you can buy, usually between 58° and 64°. It’s perfect for getting the ball up quickly, but anything above 60° can start to limit versatility. Next is the the sand wedge. This is usually the highest-lofted wedge included in a standard set. Its high bounce makes it perfect for escaping bunkers, and it’s also really handy for short chips and pitch shots around the green. Next, the gap wedge. As the name suggests, the gap wedge fills the space between the pitching wedge and sand wedge. With 50°–52° of loft, it’s sometimes called an “approach wedge” and is generally bought separately. And finally, the pitching wedge. Typically 46°–48°, though some modern sets go as strong as 43°. The pitching wedge almost always comes with your irons and is great for full shots and bump-and-runs. You should aim for about 4° of loft difference between each wedge, and mix up your bounce options so you’re prepared for any lie around the green. Let us know which wedges you carry, and be sure to like and follow for more! #golfclubs #golfequipment #golf #golfmanual #golf_manual
