Ok, I live in Australia 🇦🇺, my nephew is a police officer. To say I’m proud of him is an understatement. So serious question to my American brothers and sisters. Are your police malfunctioning? I keep seeing your police, breaking articles of your constitution, bill of rights and just being reasonable human beings. How did this institution break? God bless 🥰🙏

If he is a cop he isn’t going to jail. If in fact a cop he will be put on desk duty in a closet for maybe 6 months. He will be paid in full. As Internal affairs “investigates” they will drag this out for a year while other officers shadow the complainant. Looking for something minor to escalate it into a beating or if black a shooting. Then the court starts and lasts for another 5 years. All this time the cop is being paid. However it ends the cop can hire elsewhere and transfer his pension.
