That's what happens when drainage is systematically removed over a 20 year, water has nowhere else to go. To create the illusion of climate change. This is just normal August torrential rain. Drains used to be every 15 meters apart. Where have they gone? Why have they been filled in? This isn't unique to Edinburgh, the whole of the UK this practice has been implemented.
