On August 8, 2026, while driving through Salem, St. Ann, a stray cow suddenly stepped onto the road. The resulting collision caused extensive damage to his vehicle. To make matters worse, the animal was untagged, meaning no owner could be identified to take responsibility for the damage. Because Dwayne was already pushed to his financial limit recovering from the hurricane, he is left completely stranded with no way to pay for the repairs out of pocket. Without a working car, he is caught in a vicious cycle: he cannot do his job efficiently , which means he cannot earn the money to fix the car, leaving his family without a steady income right when back-to-school expenses are peaking.
