i'm an emt getting my minor in asl, this is pretty good, just i wanna give some quick tips i also struggled with. with the questions, eyebrows are the biggest markers. if it's a question that requires a yes or no, raise your eyebrows and tilt your head up. if it requires a longer answer (who what where when why) lower your eyebrows and slightly tilt your head forward/down. also if asked are you stressed, sign "you feel stressed you" with the proper eyebrow movement so they understand your nms signals or tone. for who what where when and why, those are always gonna be at the end of the sentence structure. my biggest advice is to focus more on learning sentence structure and nms after you learn basic vocab as that can really determine how a conversation will go. also look up videos from deaf or HoH teachers. i am only a student and slowly losing my hearing so i am not even a great resource, it helps to see a person who uses asl signing and conversing naturally while learning it.
