Solomon "Sully" Keats, OC by @caelslemontarts / loveiscosmicsin I could've gone angstier with this story but I do want Leon to meet Sully again as much as the people who kept telling me to make them meet lol. This AU story is set months before RE:Vendetta. Not sure if Leon being an alcoholic is fanon or canon or just a one time thing in Vendetta, but he sure showed some signs in other media and lore stuff so I adopted it in my AU and just gave him that rougher image to imply more of that. But in this story, I went with my headcanon that, before Vendetta and during the reunion with Sully again, he's been working on his sobriety, and then he relapsed during the events of Vendetta. Drew his remake face for consistency sake for all my comics and made his hair a little more unkempt. The Vendetta jacket was fun to draw. I was worried that this story might be a bit sappy to my liking but my friend convinced me keep Leon's tears. I guess it makes sense because I can imagine he feels like he's a kid again seeing Sully for the first time in a long time and Sully sees him as that same kid that he raised. And of course, Leon feeling the guilt - he felt that he didn't make effort to reconnect with him, seeing him old and alone and he's supposed to take care of his old man, felt like Sully won't be proud of him, etc. Also featuring a dandelion keychain from my discussion with loveiscosmicsin - Dani made the keychain for him. :) As always, special thanks to loveiscosmicsin and theycallmedarling (on tumblr) for the helping me in this as usual.
