Two nights before Namo Fazil’s fight, fifteen Chechens from Khamzat Chimaev’s team attacked Namo’s family home while Namo was cutting weight and desperately needed rest. Namo, exhausted physically, was defending his family. Because of the stress and worry about his wife, he couldn’t sleep or properly prepare for the fight during those two days. Dana White refers to all of these events at the end of the fight.
