To me, this is another example of how much attention is being placed on grand and highly visible upgrades while many Americans are struggling with everyday expenses like rent, groceries, healthcare, and utility bills. Seeing a president’s name permanently displayed on a White House facility can also raise questions about whether these projects are really about serving the public or creating a personal legacy. The White House belongs to the American people, not to any one president, and renovations should be focused on preserving the historic building, improving security and functionality, and making responsible use of taxpayer money.
