💯 Exactly this. Went to the jewellery quarter last Friday for my sister birthday. It was a surprise for her ,about 40 of us went. Got there around 6.30 about 10 min in the card machine went down. Lucky for us older generation we had cash & card. Said “ok we’ll pay cash “the pub was like we only take card 🤷‍♀️long story short they ended up having to take cash otherwise we would of left the younger lot ,including my daughter had to go get cash out some of them were using their phone so you can imagine. That card machine didn’t start working until around 11 o’clock we were still there gone 1. They would have lost loads. I usually don’t like to use places that don’t take cash I certainly wouldn’t have gone there if I’d of known.
