this is a very good point that is important to flag! I am a big proponent of sharing pay but yes onlyyyyy if salary transparency isn’t demonised in the workplace and unfortunately I think many workplaces still punish this 🙈🙈

They cannot legally fire you for discussing your salary. Of course they can find other reasons, or make stuff up. We all know they can make our lives hard for any reason they want

I agree with the consensus but it can be useful when considering internal parity and how you are benchmarked against peers. If I found out someone at the same level as me is earning considerably more, let’s just say I’d be fuming 😂
