i’m ngl with you i love pantalone but it’s true tho he’s most likely the corrupted character because he worked his way up to the top and become someone in the position of power, so it’s like yk the trampled becomes the one trampling others once power and status are gained? comparable to the brutal cycle of abuse where the abused ones becomes the abuser (pantalone’s lore in simplified term is that he was sold as a test subject first before meeting dottore, meaning he was at the bottom of the social hierarchy and that resulted in years of rooted resentment for people in power, even to the gods themselves since he wasn’t granted a vision as well despite being worthy of it from his hard work) so it’s kind of a “revenge” in a way?? to be able to finally be above others in terms of powers, something like reclaiming back his lost sense of security during his childhood? trying to tend to a bruised wound while ignoring the actual root of insecurity within himself so a lot of people suffers as a result cus of his power that scales at a large economic level

Im ngl the fatui is already pretty fucked despite their VERY end goal being for the greater good. I dont really think he cares all that much about the situation economically hes mostly just trying to give out the smallest amount of krisnic krystal possible while also giving enough to not cause riots/cause a complete crash this is a artificial scarcity for the governments gain (also all of teyvat but again the fatui dont really care who they step all over to get the end goal and bc of that they’re hurting their own citizens to do it)

No because i was listening to him and everything was such a bunch of bs😭 in a way, it makes sense that things don’t go perfectly smooth, the issue is, he was just deviating from the actual problem. Just spitting excuses won’t solve anything at all, and the veche is supposed to work towards that.
