Making bottles in a hotel room 🍼⬇️ ✨Hit SAVE if you’re a parent and you think you might formula feed abroad.✨ PART ONE: I’m also going to share how we washed and sterilised bottles and how we managed formula on SEVEN flights! 😎🍼✈️ The logistics of formula feeding on the go/abroad as a family who loves to travel almost put me off switching from EBF despite knowing it was the right choice for my family. Pleased to report it was low hassle, easy and didn’t even take much in the way of logistics once we had it sussed! MAKING BOTTLES IN A HOTEL: • I boiled bottled water in the kettle • then poured the number of oz into the bottle • I poured this, less around 1-2oz in the Nuby Rapid Cool • Added my scoops of formula to the hot shot • When the Rapid Cool showed green (so fast!) I added the water in …that’s it!! 🍼👌🏼 I always temperature test the bottle but the @nubyuk Rapid Cool never let us down. On the go, we did the same but used the insulated bottle that you can buy with the Rapid Cool to carry boiled water and used formula tablets for ease. *note: this is NOT as per the instructions of the Rapid Cool, which tells you to add the formula to the device. I find it hard to see the oz measurements inside the bottle and this would mean thoroughly washing up the device each time.* 🤍 I support all forms of feeding. I have breastfed for a combined 22 months, combi fed and now formula feed.
