@musliminvesting: L is for Liquidity. Liquidity is how quickly you can turn an asset into cash without significantly losing its value. Cash is the most liquid asset because it is already available to spend. Assets like shares or index funds are generally considered liquid because they can usually be sold quickly. But property and private investments are much less liquid. They can take longer to sell, and if you need the money urgently, you may have to accept a lower price. From a halal perspective, liquidity matters because life is unpredictable. Having accessible savings and halal liquid investments can help you deal with emergencies without being pushed towards interest-based debt or poor financial decisions. Because wealth is not just about how much your money grows. It is also about being able to access it when you need it. Liquidity + halal planning = smarter investing.
