🇬🇧UK Skilled Worker Dependant Visa & ILR — something I recently learned and wanted to share. If you’re a Skilled Worker dependant and you’re approaching your 5-year ILR qualifying period, please check your dates carefully. From my understanding of the current UK immigration guidance, if you still need some time to complete your 5 years after the main applicant settles, the dependant may need to apply for a **3-year extension**, even if they only need a few weeks or months to reach their ILR qualifying date.
