I really enjoyed the camping with the kids era but since we entered the Airbnb a cottage era I don't think I could go back. It's not even that much more expensive as the campsites in the popular areas are a fortune for pitch fees

An air tent is a game changer 🙌🏻😁. Also a roof bag for more space if you don’t already have one, you don’t need any roof racks for it, think we paid £50 odd for ours on Amazon.

roof bags are the way forward! fabsil is great at rewaterproofing tents but personally I'd get a tent where you can leave the bedrooms in and the groundsheet covers the entire floor. looks like you had a great time and puddles are all part of the fun!
