That’s exactly why I never spoke up about being sexually molested by a relative from age 9 to 12. I was mentally conditioned to see everything that happens to me as my fault and because I was scared of beatings or being accused of “ukuxabanisa” I internalised everything. I was 23 when I told my mother everything and she had a mental breakdown.. especially because the person had already died.

Asoze, i ask my child for their side of the story first infront of the reporter. I will give ear to my child as well.

My kids snitch and I love it. Whenever an adult made them uncomfortable, they'll tell me immediately Infront of that adult, respectfully too.♥️They also know that an adult telling them a "secret" isn't a secret they should keep from me and their dad.

I don't know how can I forgive myself of hitting my daughter when umakhelwane was reporting her to me, I only find out later that it's was it was just a minor thing my daughter did 😭😭😭

My mum won with this. She would first hear my side and I would always tell the truth. Till date I don’t lie to my mum. She would never shout but talk to me (also understood I’m a soft child so shouting doesn’t work with me).

Mntanam xa erongo and esazi uzoxelwa uza kuqala abeke his side of the story so that ndibe aware when the person comes abe sezile. same as eskolweni xa ndibizelwa meeting vele ndimbuze wenzeni cz andifuni surprises mna at all.

.....they even jump on their child before they can hear all about the misconduct.....the reporter will not even have to finish a second sentence before a parent is triggered. Ok parent 😳 what are you reprimanding your child for......?
