The land of the free and the idiots. Here in Germany, OUR judges wouldn't even allow this lawsuit, because the intention to help is rewarded. The parents, on the other hand, would have lost with our judges and would be convicted of neglecting their duty of supervision. In pur country, people will encouraged to help, Civil Courage is the key, but with such judgements, nobody will dare to help somebody anymore. Ridiculous what happens in the US.
