Humm.! You can imagine if North has not played persian politics with Awo and Akontola 's issue. Balewa used Akintola to curb Awolowo's development drive for the West . I wish Awon and Akintola could see the state of the Western Region .One of them could have let go leadership to save Yorubas from wilderness journey West has gone in since that time. God will safe us

Akintola was a betrayal,he sold the Yorubas to the Hausas and till date we have not been able to buy ourselves back. All because of self interest. Yorubas can never win when we are divided. We must learn from history.

The declearation of state of emergency rule in western region by the national assembly triggered the chain of reaction that engulfed and nearly consume the nation.
