As I grow older, I value quality over quantity. I would rather have a small circle of genuine, wholesome people than a hundred so-called friends who are present for parties and appearances but disappear when life becomes difficult. Even one truly good person can be enough. I have no room for toxic or negative relationships that constantly drain my energy and disturb my peace. Walking away from people who damage my wellbeing is not loneliness. It is self-respect. I am perfectly content being alone when genuine companionship is not available. Life is too short for unnecessary drama and stress. I choose a simple, peaceful and fulfilling life surrounded by sincere, supportive people. At this stage, peace of mind matters far more to me than popularity.
