sorry for disappearing! i’ve been focusing on conventions, my new job, and other platforms. i haven’t had the time to really make/come up with any new video ideas like usual. i’ve been posting on this account for a couple years almost every other day and recently started to get major burn out. i didn’t want anyone to worry like something was wrong so i kept my account activeish but turned off comments so no one would think i was ignoring them and turning into one of THOSE creators. truth is i just don’t care for tiktok anymore. i’m not a fan of the ever changing algorithm, how hard it is to make mutuals, and just the main fact that most of the comic demographic here is children. not that that’s a problem, but it gets really annoying as someone who likes talking ABOUT comics and not just cosplaying. the people here tend to be a lot more sensitive than other platforms, and with how the algorithm had just been failing me over and over i slowly moved towards instagram. in the month i started posting i gained more mutuals there than i did here in a year, my content popped off, and i was given new opportunities for my work. so i felt like i had no reason to post here anymore. i’m not going to abandon the app entirely, but it won’t be a primary focus when posting content anymore. i appreciate every single one of you. #catwoman #catwomancosplay #dccomics #selinakyle
