This is true for all household duties. You don’t like dirty dishes? Full trash? Your partner has no awareness of them. You have a cleanish clothes chair that you don’t notice? It’ll drive your partner crazy. This is because of both of you can’t see the same issue your house will become a biohazard and kill you both
