Have these parents ever been to college? The average class is less than hour. Maybe two hours for some. You’re seeing each professor maybe 2-3 times per week for 4 months before switching. You’re in there with hundreds of other kids talking about whatever subject the class is. Unless you’re taking some kind of political or gender class, you’re not going to spend much time talking about stuff that will “indoctrinate” your kids. They say colleges are indoctrinating the kids when it’s actually just kids meeting new people and being introduced to information their parents were too scared to teach them.

Honestly, conservatives are horrible parents. I dated a guy at 19 whose parents wouldn’t sign a FAFSA for him to go to school. They told him they weren’t going to pay for any of his education. They had more than enough money to send all 3 of their kids to college. It wasn’t a learning experience, it was cruelty.

College is about 15-20 hours a week. If 4 years of that can undo what you taught them for 18 years then you either did a bad job at it or what you were teaching them doesn’t hold up (or both)!
