@outwithafinn: Building an Off-Grid Mini-Cabin PT5! Now that the walls are up, all it needs is a proper roof! The roof boards are nailed with siding nails using a nail gun. These are not that sturdy, but it will get a metal sheet roof. Therefore, the weight is carried by these sturdier boards that come on top, and are nailed deep to the roof beams with sturdy nails.
