I use Nurtec and Ubrelvy. Took a Nurtec today. If I wake up and have any amount of symptoms, I’ll take a Ubrelvy and 99.999% of the time it’ll stop it in its tracks. But not if I take the Ubrelvy the first time. Migraines are weird.

I got 3 and choosing which i take is so dependent upon what triggered the migraine (lights scents weather dehydration hormones stress) how quickly its progressing (minutes vs hrs) n my availability to get home to a safe bed (one tends to knock me out for hrs n pushing thru that drowsiness in public alone and especially driving is more dangerous than the migraine itself)

UBRELVY here and if it’s really bad sumatriptan shot….. sometimes I bypass and do shot

I was only prescribed sumatriptan and I only get 12 lousy pills so for the rest of the month I'm suffering. I get more than 12 migraines a month but the upside is it does work on my migraines it just takes anywhere from an hour or two to work.

My doctor gave me samples of symbravo at my last appointment. It’s contradictory with my propranolol which I didn’t know until I after I took it and I was basically comatose. She’s also the doctor who put me on propranolol. 🥲

I have 1 rescue med but on 2 preventive. Sumatriptan as a rescue and Nurtec every other day and Ajovy every 28 days for prevention.

Ive got topamax and nurtec. Love the nurtec for when i get aura and can prevent the migraine but the topamax is not my favorite

In my experience, it’s not that prescribers only prescribe one, it’s that insurance companies will only approve one at a time.

My Dr gave me 3 and told me to take what works... we found the best is maxalt melt and ubrelvy together. Knocks out MOST migraines in 1hr.

Totally agree! I need to bounce between nurtec and ubrevley. Then for the bigger ones . Reyvow which is sad it’s no longer being mad so switched over to Symbravo. Need options
