A few hours later, the library had been emptied of all its students, and the sky had long since turned a deep shade of violet. Megan walked with Yoonchae to the gates of the school building, her fingers wrapping around the other girl's gently as a light wind sent a few leaves tumbling to the ground. Megan produced a soft wooly scarf from her bag, which she proceeded to tie around Yoonchae's neck with practiced ease. It had been bought specifically because it complemented the color of Yoonchae's favorite winter coat, which she wore every day during the colder months. "Warm enough?" Megan asked, her voice a low rumble in Yoonchae's ear as she leaned down to capture the fabric at the base of Yoonchae's neck in her lips. "Very warm," Yoonchae smiled, her eyes locking onto Megan's dark ones. She reached up to brush a finger over the fabric of the other girl's blazer before adjusting her collar. "You don't have to keep doing all of these things, you know? Notes and presents and buying me clothes and caring for me... you already have me." She brought Yoonchae's hand to her mouth, sucking gently on the girl's knuckles as she met her gaze. "Having you is only the beginning, Yoonchae," she whispered, a dark smile curving her lips. "I spent months making sure I had you, so I'm willing to spend the rest of my life ensuring you never leave." Yoonchae's heart gave a loud flutter in her chest, and she tightened her grip on Megan's hand, leaning down to press a kiss to her jawbone. "Good," she murmured against Megan's skin.
