It’s the best representation of what a person that lived 100 times longer than humans would be like. She has the same emotional capacity as us but it takes her far longer to realize things due to living such a long life. 70 years is nothing for her it’s the equivalent of a month to us. How many of us have realized too late that a person was flirting with us? Now imagine instead of it taking a year for that realization to set in, it takes half a century.

the best part abt this is that the show happens after the stoic immortal shit, it's just that after losing himmel she realizes that even if you live forever, it won't be different from not living at all if she keeps not caring. she regrets how she didn't value himmels time and their time together as much as she did and its why she tries her best with fern and stark
