I'm dying to do HSPS at Cambridge, however I'm going to take a gap year and use my achieved grades as my GCSEs are at 655555543 and are very low, theoretically if I have a great personal statement, 3 A* achieved at A level and supper curriculars, is there any chance of me getting in? Or is there no way because of my GCSEs and I'll look for another university. Only asking as I've heard Cambridge views GCSEs more holistically compared to other universities, I've reached academic maturity a little late and it's my biggest regret not locking in for my GCSEs. Are they worth resitting or should I just scrap it all in general?

I did BTEC instead of Alevels and got into my firm choice this year for medical science I need to graduate with first class honors if I want to get into the field I want trough postgraduate studies I did decent in GCSE and didn’t do A levels but obv BTEC is equivalent to Alevels so will my first class honors degree + work experience and extracurricular activities make up for my GCSE’s? Someone please answer because I really want to get into a Russel group University. Thank you

i passed every and got 9 for maths, but i failed and got 3 for further pure maths, what do i do? i’m doing math, furthermaths, physics for alevel. Should I resit or should i focus A level from now on? 😭
