I agree that love for a person, a job, or a craft is not enough on its own because pressure turns leftover feeling into habit. Love the work, but stay hungry for it. Love your partner with the same heat and if the feeling thins, let the decision to stay be stronger than the mood. That is what remains when love or fire is no longer enough.
