@hew7326: Princess Diana Didn't Grow Up at Althorp like it is commonly believed. Before Althorp, Diana's childhood home was Park House on the Sandringham Estate. She was born there in 1961 and spent most of her childhood living on the royal family's private estate. Diana did not move to Althorp until 1975, when she was about 14 and her father inherited the title of Earl Spencer.
