You have it very right, I spent 13yrs as a single mom of a daughter in my masculine energy and I worked very masculine jobs. I had alot of guy friends because I was safe because I was very independent and my daughter thought her mommy could fix anything. Then my 3 boys came into my world and I still stayed masculine strong until they became teens and they started to bring my feminine energy forward as they came into their masculine and I allowed it wanting them to respect and treat woman as precious.

You’ve said a mouthful, in such a way that is understood. I’ve not heard it explained as well as you have done. Early trauma has built up walls in ways I never completely understood. No man has ever come close to making me feel protected. It’s really sad. Hyper independence happens over a very long period of time. Don't blame us, for having to look after ourselves. Sometimes we have no choice. We have to choose ourselves, and put our Priorities in the #1 position. The walls happen, because we have to provide the walls of protection around us. Don't call us, stuck up, or any other names. We're just out here, trying to be our best version of ourselves at the moment we are in. From a 60 year old, with a lifetime of different experiences.
