rancher/ store owner here. you would be surprised how much fraud of food stamps there are yes no kid should go hungry PERIOD but ice-cream , soda , candy, sports drinks are not essential or healthy they can still buy meat and veggies on them idk how many times people got mad at me or our employees for not taking snap on candy anymore

Hey man, I’m curious if you’re in an area that would be suitable for wind power generation. I’ve seen for years farmers putting a couple on their land to help stabilize the farm’s revenue. Each one takes an acre and they were showing only a handful could add 100k to your books yearly. Obviously situational and up to you.

Dairy farm kid here. We needed food stamps and government cheese all through the 80s. My folks finally gave up when the cost of electricity and grain supplements were more than we could get for the sale of our milk.

now, that proce parity would only last about a month until plants close (unless a judg orders them to stay open) and supplies at stores run out and the public riots... farmers will enjoy 1 nice month.
