i'm curious though, was arian's only intention in having caleb really just to escape the caruso marriage? if that's the case, why caleb specifically? what was it about caleb that made arian choose him? especially if arian genuinely isn't pursuing him because he suspects caleb is his childhood love. that's what i'm most curious about: why caleb? what made him the person arian chose in the first place?

two things that hurt me most was; first, that caleb tried to distance himself from the situation and arian by defensively saying that arian did not owe him an explation and second, arian's hesitation when caleb asked about their relationship

I think even after Lucian shows up, Arian’s instincts keep telling him that Lucian isn’t the one he’s been chasing. Or maybe he’s starting to realize that he’s no longer interested in Lucian because he’s developed feelings for Caleb. Either way, Arian didn’t show any interest in Lucian, but mentioning the dagger thing clearly shook him a little. 😭

a lot of the viewers didn't realize that Arian was loving & yearning that boy who saved him for YEARS. so when he finally showed up & he realized that his heart no longer belongs to the person he's been looking for, it was understandable that he wouldn't know how to approach the situation right away. 🤧 the angst part really got us.

I have so much to say but English ain’t my first language 😂 I would love to debate about this! Arian was conflicted when Lucian arrived but I think he was already feeling in love with Caleb. His mistake was to hold on and not answer when Caleb asked WHAT ARE WE? Cuz Caleb felt like he was not enough and of course after that when Arian told him than Lucian was not who he thought he was, Caleb felt like that ms why he come back to him… only cuz he wasn’t THAT person. My baby Caleb was hurt. But I feel like Arian would still have chose Caleb even if Lucian was that boy. He was already in love in Caleb just conflicted.

Exacto, por eso incluso cuando Lucien llegó Arian lo observaba con cara de pocos amigos, por eso le quiso explicar a Caleb aunque Caleb dijo que él no le debía dar explicaciones, por eso no dejó que Lucien le tomara la mano, por eso trató de ir tras Caleb pero no pudo por la droga, Caleb ya estaba en su corazón y nadie lo iba a sacar de ahí, ni siquiera el supuesto "dueño de la daga" 🥹
