Worked up there in tbe 70s, Renovating the well. Thoroughly enjoyed my time up there. The views are stunning.

Well overdue the development up there, they deserve it. You have the best views of the valleys up there guaranteed and will be a huge asset to help RCT with the housing crisis. Never lived there myself but there’s great community spirit there and hopefully they are able to do all that is planned. The whole valley will benefit as a result!

I live in various flats and houses until I was 16 then moved down the valleys move back in2007 we loved it but they wouldn't do the work we needed done otherwise we would of stayed. Had fantastic neighbours and no problems

Awww I grew up up Penrhys and my kids lush community I just moved off because I wanted my kids to go to Treorchy school to have a good education I miss them all up there aye not many ppl left mind

I remember when I was a kid in the 80s, my old man knocked my house down to the shell, so the council gave us a house on that estate to stay in while he sorted it out. From what I can remember, everyone seemed friendly.

I watched this yesterday on YouTube. I loved my life in Penrhys. I lived up there when they hadn’t finished building it. Stayed until 1986 brilliant times.🏴
