From experience I still stay on a couple of the veterans pages, fewer than before to be sure, some are very anti as with all large groups but personally I’ve found 90% stayed and I’ve only blocked one of the people I once served with since. That was more because she went hyper religious and preachy. The phones take themselves away and the vast majority of old comrades stay. Just my experience

I’m ex REME 5yrs service and tbh yeh I would say the vast majority are a safe place obviously as with most large groups there is always a twat based minority….xxxxx

The simple answer to that in the United States is NO. It’s not a safe space. Not even remotely. Granted, some services are better than others but, as a whole the answer would be a big NO.

Well speaking as a UK military vet, i dont think there is any problem dating or having a relationship with a trans person, as long as they are upfront about everything. ❤️

I’m glad you had that experience. That sounds great.! I have not been in these context in the USA., but I have been in other context that have typically been homophobic such as different motorsports groups,, but I didn’t find these people to be disrespectful to me at all. They look at me as if I’m a pretty novel event. But no one said anything disrespectful.
