Exactly! I’m really disappointed in them. I’m glad that at least some consequences have already come from this, but their silence speaks louder than words, and the chances of them addressing the situation are very slim. That doesn’t change the fact that I really hope they’ll speak up, considering the scale of this whole controversy and how much they’ve disappointed ARMY (sorry for my english level but I don't speak english well)

An "apology" would mean saying, "Our public association with Chris Brown was a mistake" and they would having to admit, in some way, that CB is a shitty person. But they're never going to risk losing CB as a bro. I think BigHit decided that the consequences of staying silent are less significant than the consequences of making a statement. If most of the fandom stays and the controversy eventually dies down, then from a management perspective, staying silent may simply be the less risky option. 💔
