According to reports, Ms. A shared a lengthy statement on Instagram Stories on August 19, responding to claims made by Hong Min-gi’s side, but later removed all of the posts. In her statement, A denied allegations that she had stalked the actor or repeatedly tried to convince him to get back together. She said that her intention was to receive an apology and claimed she contacted members of his family after allegedly being unable to reach him during a difficult personal situation. A claimed that she discovered she was pregnant in July and alleged that Hong Min-gi asked her to have an abortion. She stated that she underwent the procedure on her own and claimed to have medical records and ultrasound images related to the situation. She further alleged that she covered the medical expenses herself and that the actor did not accompany her to the hospital.
