@cbsatlanta: Atlanta Beltline is expanding its free autonomous shuttle service to the Atlanta University Center (AUC), giving students, faculty and staff another connection to MARTA, the Beltline and destinations across Southwest Atlanta. The expanded ATL Spoke route connects the AUC with the West End MARTA Station, Atlanta Beltline Southwest Trail and Lee + White, helping close first- and last-mile transit gaps. The approximately two-mile pilot, supported by a $1.75 million grant and operated by Beep, aims to increase mobility and provide a model for more equitable, connected communities. Rides are free and open to the public daily from noon to 10 p.m., with shuttles arriving every 12 to 15 minutes.
