I recently lost a friendship because of something he heard about me. To this day, I still wonder what this “big thing” I supposedly did was. Honestly I couldn’t care less about the rumours but I’d be lying if I said losing the friendship doesn’t hurt. It was a meaningful friendship and I do miss him a lot. Some losses are difficult simply because you never got the chance to understand what happened💔

Same thing happened to me. I grieved her for years and still silently do but I take solace in knowing my conscience is clear and you are never wrong for choosing yourself.
