I’ve been fired recently. It was a contract anyway so I’m saying to potential employers when interviewed ‘I was covering someone on mat leave and they returned early so I’m available when you need me’. It’s a half truth, I was covering someone on mat leave and I was in the role long enough to have it believable enough to them.
