Found in a heartbreaking state of severe emaciation, covered in wounds, and almost completely without fur, he was barely able to lift his head when rescuers reached him. His frail body tells a story of prolonged suffering: hunger, untreated skin conditions, and the deep loneliness that comes from being abandoned and forgotten. Yet even in his weakest moments, Eugene’s eyes still hold a quiet spark of hope. He is now safe in a crate lined with soft blankets, receiving the first warmth and care he has known in a long time. But safety alone is not enough. Eugene urgently needs extensive veterinary treatment — diagnostics, wound care, nutritional support, medication for his skin and overall health, and the ongoing nursing required to help him regain strength and begin healing both physically and emotionally.
