I gave my players a stick that had one enchantment that caused the result of any attempt to analyze it to result in further curiosity. “You do not fully understand what it is, but there is a definite magical attribute at work here.” They became so convinced that it had some importance to the campaign, but it was just a stick that makes you more curious about it the more you try to figure it out.

I forgot the exact name but it's a magic comb that makes your hair longer. it would normaly be useless but I ended up getting hair that turns into amethyst after being cut and can sell it.

For over twenty years we have had a staff that shows up in our games. His name is Healy. He is a sentient staff of fine oak. Well worn and smooth to the touch. Healy absolutely loves to heal those who are injured. “If not careful with him he will heal the enemy as well”. Now what everyone loves about Healy is how he heals people. A white salve oozes from the top of the staff and as this happens, Healy moans in pleasure that he is getting to heal someone. Uhhhhgggg, oh yeah. Feel better? Hahahaha. Shove him in a back pack and listen to him whine when someone takes damage. “Let me out! Are you ok?! Do you need me?!”

we found a teeny dragon with a single gold coin for its hoard, I kept it because cool pet... only now my character's cursed shadow (different story) keeps slipping the dragon money from my character's bag and making it get bigger 😅 it's now slightly bigger than a cat
