Give it time! Open ur door, Get out of ur room, Get a campus job, Sit out in the common areas, Join a club, Volunteer, go workout, ask to go w others, everyone is new. Give yourself grace it takes a little time to find ur people but they are there!

Bro you got one month to get out there. Everybody is new. Friendships are forming fast. Go outside. Sit on a bench. Walk around. Say hi to people. Ask them questions like where are you from, what is your major. Don’t let this month pass without trying. Trust me, your best friend is out there right now waiting for you to just walk up to them and say hi. It’s awkward at first but you’ll get the hang of it.

I work at a university. PLEASE come to events. Everyone is lonely, everyone is a bit awkward at first, NO ONE cares tho. Attendance to 1 official event increases retention rates by at least 15%, 2 increases it by another 5% etc. promise it will help you lock in and feel like you belong

Niche idea, but find some sealed snacks (people are untrustworthy of open food) like soda or chip bags, and offer them up to people on your floor. or ask if anyone needs help moving in. make a floor group chat. If you're social your first week or two of college, you'll have friends for life genuinely
