@goldeng6rl: we’re not perfect and the more rooted you are in your self concept the easier you can admit you’re wrong without it feeling like the end of the world (imo lol) 🤸🏿♀️ and y’all it was so hot in TX this day 😂 was so sweaty and dehydrated but I had thoughts I wanted to share! #selfconcept #thoughtdaughter
The only people who have a hard time admitting this are people pleasers and those wearing a mask. No one is perfect. We’re all the villain in someone’s story.

Admitting your faults is ALWAYS better than doing mental gymnastics trying to be perfect and catering to everyone’s (different) idea of a good person! Convincing yourself that you’re never wrong and incapable of harming other people is naïveté at its finest

Always villainized it makes me feel so shitty. Sometimes it’s justified & if it isn’t whatever I can be the villain in your story so u feel better. WHAT TF EVER! My heart pure so whatever. 🤍🪽

It is so liberating to stop performing for my own inner monologue or internal perception of self. I’m a HUMAN BEEEEIIINNNGGG

Needing to control the narrative is rooted in insecurity and influence. If I ever decide something and go through with it, even if I know it may be perceived as “wrong” based on the individuals it impacts, I have fully owned and decided that’s what I want to do. I am a very intentional person and make decisions as such even if others don’t like it or understand them. 🤷🏽♀️

We r all villains in someone’s story. We are human and sometimes we mess up and it’s okay. What matters is how we grow from it and correct our behavior.

I’ve been accepting this so lately and it really is freeing. My moms side of the family sees me as the villain for sure (even though the real villains are my grandparents)

I spent a long time believing I was a horrible person (because of some dude ofc ik booo tomato tomato) and so I was kinda like “fine I’ll be the bad guy”…and although I’ve found balance NOW, I did take valuable lessons from that time… the willingness to accept blame is so freeing because if it is true you know how to change to be better…and if the criticism is not coming from a real place you can let that shit go :)

It helps you understand the person you are more and honestly most villain origin stories started when you were doing you’re best to be the good guy.
